The Medical Center has been named one of the top 100 Rural Hospitals in America for eight consecutive years.Position Summary : the CT Technologist is responsible executing radiologic and Computed Tomography procedures with expert knowledge and the ability to perform all procedures efficiently and accurately. This is a full time, night shift position that works 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include : Performing a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy for the purpose of detecting pathology.Preparing patient rooms, equipment, supplies and contrast media.Working without supervision or assistance while applying independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.Applying an understanding of age-related care needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.Delivering high-quality services and interacting appropriately with patients, patient representatives, physicians, and co-workers.Minimum Qualifications : License : Utah Radiologic Technologist License. ARRT Computed Tomography certification and registrationCertification : BLS Certification within 6 months of hireExperience : Diagnostic Tech and CT Tech experience preferred
