What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Manager position at Fidel's Palisade?
The front of house floor manager is responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the Fidel’s Cocina & Bar front of house staff. The purpose of the floor manager is to assist the owners, Jeff Snook and Jody Corey, in all aspects of the front of house operations and to provide a more supervisory eye on the front of house staff.
Position includes tips and quarterly bonus structure.
Day to day tasks will include but may not be limited to:
-Manage a team of front of house staff including training and general supervision
-Assist with liquor inventory
-Monitor and see that all opening/ closing duties of the front of house staff are completed correctly and efficiently; seeing that the restaurant holds its cleanliness and maintenance.
- Responsible for reviewing/ balancing employee daily drop sheet and end of shift sheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee shift check out
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and leadership skills to employees
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and patient manner.
- Responsible for quality assurance in guest experience
- Enforce and monitor all health and safety requirements and guidelines
- Be available / willing to assist front of house staff with running food / hosting/ bussing / etc. as needed
-Communicate thoroughly with front of house staff daily needs and requirements
-Manage Reception and reservations of 6 or more

Requirements
- Ability to stand on your feet for several hours
- Lift 50 pounds or more
- Working 5 days per week, including weekends
- Efficiently work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a good attitude
