Position Purpose : With the Fidelis Care New York Health Plan, the Health Care Analyst provides claims analytic support to one or multiple departments and develops a variety of complex ad hoc, production and / or trend reports to support business decisions and operational processes for internal and external customers.
- Financial Analysis
- Surveillance of Fee Schedule Updates
- Adhoc Projects
- Quality Review of Team Members Financial Analysis
- Fee Schedule Updates (Medicare / Medicaid)
- Designs, develops, documents and maintains databases to aid reporting and processes
- Verifies accuracy of data
- May ensure reports are reviewed for regulatory reporting requirements
- Supports the development of online management information systems and standardized reports
- May recommend operational changes or actions based on analytical conclusions
Required Education / Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Accounting or related analytical discipline preferred. Minimum two years experience manipulating and analyzing data from large relational database files.
Preferred Skills :
Strong Excel and SQL skills
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
3 years Claims experience
Fee Schedules (Medicare / Medicaid) experience
Pay Range : $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year
