Experienced Armed Part-Time/Flex Security Officer

Responsibilities:

YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE YOUR OWN FIREARM / FPS DOES NOT SUPPLY FIREARMS

• Be available to work any site location.
• Provide armed security services to protect the premises, assets, and personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance equipment to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Enforce access control procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal activity and provide a sense of security to employees and visitors.
• Conduct thorough investigations of any suspicious activities or incidents that occur on the premises.
• Write detailed reports documenting all security-related activities and incidents.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid armed security officer license/certificate.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Note: This position may require working evenings, weekends, or holidays based on the needs of the organization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
