Job Summary

This is an on-call/fill-in position intended to cover shifts when regular team members are unavailable due to sick leave, time off, or other absences. Applicants must understand that this role does not guarantee a consistent schedule and may involve working all shifts on all days, often on short notice.

As Fidelis Security Solutions expands its client base, on-call employees will be considered for regular, steady assignments based on performance and availability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security, following outlined procedures.

· Identify potential security risks and respond promptly according to company policies.

· Respond to emergencies and incidents, escalating to law enforcement when necessary.

· Complete detailed incident reports and required documentation.

· Verify credentials for access, including ID badges and visitor passes.

· Assist employees and visitors with safety concerns in a professional manner.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Makes You Stand Out

Preferred Experience:

· Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience.

· Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and practices.

· Experience operating CCTV systems and security equipment.

Skills & Attributes:

· Excellent observation, surveillance, and problem-solving abilities.

· Calm and professional demeanor when handling conflicts.

· Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

· Strong physical stamina (able to walk 3-5 miles per shift).

Additional Requirements:

· Must be willing to work varied shifts, including weekends and overnights.

· Must be available for short-notice assignments.

· Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects if necessary.

· Applicants must pass a thorough background check.

The salary range for this position at Fidelis Security Solutions is $20/hourly - $22/hourly.

The base pay salary is a calculated industry-based estimate and is what the Fidelis Security Solutions may pay for anyone seated in this position throughout their tenure at our company. This estimated range of $20/hourly - $22/hourly range is based on a number of factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and years and types of experience.
