Job Overview: Join our team as a Compliance Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the Bank’s compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements related to retail deposits, lending, and vendor management. This position provides subject matter expertise, interprets complex regulations, and supports operational areas by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of compliance rules and best practices.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and ensuring accuracy of compliance related rules and regulations, as it relates to retail deposit and lending; including but not limited to Privacy, Fair Lending acts, UDAAP, and advertising regulations.
- Supporting the Compliance division in providing retail and lending management with technical expertise.
- Providing interpretations and application of ideas related to compliance rules and regulations to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of current compliance regulations to update regulated functions and operational activities within the Bank.
- Reviewing and researching regulatory releases and data and attending compliance professional development opportunities.
- Administrating the Bank's Vendor Management Program.
- Conducting needs analysis and complete special projects within functional areas.
- Answering compliance questions and coordinating and informing customers regarding any regulatory changes.
Requirements for the position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of regulatory compliance and banking functions experience.
- Regulation analysis experience.
- Word processing and spreadsheet experience.
- Professional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible and/or late hours.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in a business related field.
