Fidelity Energy and Sustainability, part of the Fidelity Building Services Group family , is seeking a dynamic, technically skilled Energy Consultant to join our team in the Maryland / DC area. This role combines engineering expertise with a consultative sales approach to deliver customized energy solutions that drive value for our clients.
What you'll do :
- Leverage your technical knowledge to identify and develop energy-saving opportunities in building systems, including HVAC, building controls, lighting, solar power, battery storage, chillers, boilers, and industrial processes.
- Craft and present tailored solutions for energy efficiency improvements, decarbonization and electrification strategies, and overall facility performance enhancement.
- Utilize your knowledge of incentive and rebate programs, as well as utility tariffs, to optimize return on investment and overall financial benefits of the energy projects.
- Consult with clients for the development of energy audits, feasibility studies, and retro-commissioning engagements that lead to actionable recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Drive consultative, solution-based sales to achieve or exceed performance targets.
