This role combines engineering expertise with a consultative sales approach to deliver customized energy solutions that drive value for our clients.
What you’ll do:
- Leverage your technical knowledge to identify and develop energy-saving opportunities in building systems, including HVAC, building controls, lighting, solar power, battery storage, chillers, boilers, and industrial processes.
- Craft and present tailored solutions for energy efficiency improvements, decarbonization and electrification strategies, and overall facility performance enhancement.
- Utilize your knowledge of incentive and rebate programs, as well as utility tariffs, to optimize return on investment and overall financial benefits of the energy projects.
- Consult with clients for the development of energy audits, feasibility studies, and retro-commissioning engagements that lead to actionable recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Drive consultative, solution-based sales to achieve or exceed performance targets.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in energy engineering, consulting, or energy services sales.
- In-depth knowledge of building energy systems, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, automation and controls, distributed generation, renewable energy, and performance analytics.
- Familiarity with regional utility energy efficiency programs, tariffs, and rate structures.
- Expertise in system design, energy auditing, and retro-commissioning (a plus).
- Proven success in consultative, solution-oriented sales and project development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.

- Competitive Salary: Base Pay - $100k to $150k - Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, several factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. We offer a compensation package that reflects your skills and experience. This role is eligible for variable compensation, including performance-based bonuses.
