Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of life and annuity products, business and vendor platforms and extracts through the delivery of comprehensive documentation and collaboration with business partners. This position will be subject matter expert and must have extensive product knowledge to support TPA development and downstream system integrations.
This position will be part of the Insurance Operations Product Implementation Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop business requirements used to support product / riders as well as determine and document technical impacts in partnership with internal business partners. (examples- Retail Product, Actuarial, Finance)
- Develop test plans and scripts in collaboration with Retail Actuarial Technicians.
- Review and update system related documentation that may include vendor technical documentation, mapping documents and flow charts.
- Execute targeted testing and sign-off on test results in partnership with internal business partners.
- Such testing includes values testing, policy print testing and data integration.
- Product knowledge subject matter expert for TPA development as well as downstream system integrations
- Evaluate and analyze existing or proposed business systems and process with continuous improvement mindset.
- Rate database support
- Sox control support
- Administrative System :
Work with the Administrative System personnel to ensure that new products or any enhancements are correctly implemented on the system.
Work with Illustration & Sales tool team to ensure consistency with setup of Administrative System.
