Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client adherence to medication schedules.
- Provide catheter care and assist with mobility, including lifting clients safely when necessary.
- Measure and record vital signs, reporting any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences of clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of client care activities and observations.
- Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining a positive outlook on life.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in senior care or as a Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with medication administration, catheter care, and vital sign monitoring is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, family members, and clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others maintain their quality of life.
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility challenges.
