CLUB ROOM is hiring for a FOOD RUNNER
Fidelity Hotel is an adaptive reuse project located at 1940 E. 6th Street in the historic 103-year-old Baker Building. Fidelity Hotel has 97 guest rooms & suites, each with tailored amenities, custom-designed furniture, and thoughtfully curated art. The property features a full-service upscale restaurant and bar, Club Room. The property also features event & meeting spaces and a private dining room. What you'll do:
- Maintain product knowledge to ensure the accuracy of recipes and notify guests of ingredients
- Maintain product allergen knowledge and pay close attention to ensure accuracy and proper communication of dishes with allergen alerts
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware
- Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
- Verify that guests have proper dishware and utensils needed for the course upon delivery of food
- Provide clear communication between front and back of house staff
- Remove dishes and glassware from tables or counters and take them to the kitchen for cleaning
- Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining as needed
- Stock area with dining supplies such as plates, utensils, glassware, and linens
- Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
Who you are:
- You have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 6 months of related experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
- You have state-issued food handling certification as required.
- You can speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.
- You can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- You can speak effectively before guests and groups of co-workers.
