Job Description:
The Role
As Director, Fidelity Institutional (FI) Communications at Fidelity Investments, you will work closely with a business-aligned team and key business partners to meaningfully engage the 3,000 associates across FI, Fidelity’s business unit that offers investment insights, strategies, and solutions, as well as trading and prime brokerage services to wealth management firms, asset managers, and institutions.
In this role, you’ll work directly with senior leaders in FI to develop thoughtful, strategic, and impactful communications campaigns, executive speaking points, presentations, intranet content, and messaging across digital, social channels and live events.
Collaborating with business and functional partners, you’ll drive communications that align with business priorities, connect associates to the business strategy, and support organizational and cultural change. You’ll have opportunities to grow and deliver impact as you partner closely with colleagues in Fidelity’s government relations, public policy, external communications, and social media teams.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree
10 years as a communications professional; deep experience with executive, internal, and external communications.
Financial services knowledge a plus.

Excellent storytelling, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
Experience delivering strategies and communications that effectively support organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder engagement.
Proven success building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and evolving team environment.
Strategic thinking with a creative mindset to solving problems.

The Team
The FI Communications team is part of the Leadership Communications organization within Corporate Affairs. Working closely with Fidelity senior leaders, we develop communications programs that inspire associates – whether they are client-facing or creating and marketing the products, solutions or capabilities that we offer. As part of the larger Corporate Affairs team, we can connect our work to larger enterprise efforts that reach a range of internal and external audiences.
