Job Description: Associate Billing Analyst The Purpose of Your Role The Associate Billing Analyst handles invoicing as well as setup and maintenance of fee calculation rules for WI DC and HSA client relationships in the Core Market. In addition, this associate will coordinate credit programs (Service Credit, Revenue Credit, Participant Revenue Credit) based on the client contract and program guidelines. Finally, you will partner with Core Market Managing Directors to respond to questions about client or participant fees and represent standard fee calculation and fee deduction methodologies. The Expertise We’re Looking For 2 years working in accounting, finance, operations, or financial operations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training plus overall experience of 4-6 years. Prior experience interpreting client contracts or other legal documents. Prior experience in a customer-facing roles or a direct support function. Strong prioritization skills; experience balancing multiple and diverse priorities across business partners. Proven consultative communication experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills with more sophisticated Excel skills a plus. The Value You Deliver Quarterly invoicing for varying groups of Core Market clients. Coordinate the deduction of fees from participants accounts. Perform problem resolution of invoices for any over/under-deducted or rejected fees. Calculation of annual or quarterly credit as applicable for fixed basis point and fixed dollar clients via post rule setup. Apply service credits to plan invoices and log usage. Calculation and input of all manual fees including final fee and credit calculations/deductions for terminating, deconverting, merging and migrating plans. Read and interpret contracts and contract amendments while making appropriate changes to plan fees via the Client Billing System (CBS) including setup of new plan fees. Identify, analyze and resolve discrepancies in CBS vs. Contracts and Amendments. Participant fee disclosure project work and ongoing clean-up of fee configurations in CBS. Process client requests for reimbursement via wire transfer or fulfill client requests to offset Fidelity fees in accordance with the contract and applicable credit program guidelines. Partner with Managing Directors and other client team members to provide education around credit programs and related operational guidelines. Work closely with internal business partners to ensure quality service, accurate and timely invoicing, and adherence to client billing standard methodologies. Respond to general and specific billing inquiries. Skills and Knowledge Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work well independently as well as across teams while demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven track record in building relationships with a wide variety of functional roles at all organizational levels. Proven influencing ability. Ability to balance multiple priorities with competing timeframes for completion.
