The Role
As an Associate within the Alternative Accounting team, you will have responsibilities covering all aspects of accounting operations performed by the team supporting Fidelity’s alternative investment products. You will be performing accounting and pricing functions and act as a contact for daily operational needs. The role will require daily, monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables, implementation of pivotal initiatives, and relationship management.
As a member the Alternative Accounting Team, you will be involved in the operational responsibilities of alternative investment products, and you should be passionate about learning new alternative accounting products that are continuously launching. As a member of the Alternative Accounting team, you will collaborate with other teams within FFIO as well as business partners across the organization.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent with 3+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2 + years of experience
Experience with Geneva and Geneva World Investor strongly preferred
Experience supporting Derivatives and/or Digital Assets preferred
Understanding of the finance industry, partnership accounting and back-office operations for alternative products, including private equity, hedge fund and digital asset products preferred
Strong analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to collaborate with team members is a must
Presence and judgment to take ownership of responsibilities and encourage well-reasoned recommendations for updates to improve efficiency where applicable
Understanding of financial and accounting principles
Strategic Problem solver with a focus on innovation
Salary : $70,000 - $101,000
