Job Description
The Consultant Configuration Design and Solutions Analyst (CDSA) is a member of the Health Care Operations Organization. This is an exciting role that offers an opportunity to blend your systems analysis, critical thinking, and analytical skills while working with a team of similarly motivated individuals. The CDSA is responsible for providing configuration design consultation in an Agile environment to support system enhancements and new functionality. As a member of the Configuration Council, the CDSA serves as configuration expert within their squad(s) on new system capabilities designed to support client implementations and fee for service projects. Additionally, the CDSA will be responsible for documenting and rolling out new configuration solutions to the broader configuration team, supporting the benefits builder team in designing any automated configuration mapping and serving as a subject matter expert to fellow configuration analysts as well as the broader Health Care team. This work is done with attention to adhering to standards, creating simple, scalable solutions and meeting client needs.

- BS or BA Required
Experience
- 5 years of experience in Health & Welfare Domain.
- 2 years of experience in FHB Configuration, System Analysis, Development or another FHB Technical role
- Ability to think across Agile Squads and product categories
- Ability to assess gaps between offering and multiple clients’ needs to recommend scalable, configurable solutions
- Your organizational skills to define and meet deadlines within an Agile squad structure
- Possess a competence in application/technology experience such as PLSQL, SQL, MS Access. Should be able to understand, write and process SQL queries
- Good interpersonal, influencing and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Flexible, good at multitasking and working with various members of the team on multiple projects or initiatives at the same time
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
- Understanding of the software development project life cycle process
- Experience with related desktop software tools (MS Office, JIRA)
- A passion for designing simple, scalable and configurable solutions to meet our clients’ needs
- Partner with the Scrum Leader/Squad Leader to understand the goals and the work for each sprint
- Lead configuration processes/projects and deliver high quality results by working with Configuration Analysts, Developers, Business Analysts and other members of your Agile Squad(s)
- As a subject matter expert, analyze business requirements and recommend configurable solutions or identify system gaps.
- Mentor and coach Configuration Analysts on new products and functionality and complex configuration solutions
- Problem solving/process improvement skills
- Perform data analysis and reporting for effective client decisions
- Identify problems with business requirements and recommend modifications to the functional solution which may impact the system design
