The Role
The Director, Delivery Enablement blends a passion for delivering value to customers with an emphasis on continuous improvement. This role is instrumental in leading, influencing and improving our Delivery System processes and co-ordination of work across WI, HCG, and other BU’s in Fidelity. A structured and organized approach as well as a natural inclination to get things done through others will be key to success.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 7 years’ experience in project management, change management, or transformational roles
- A passion for understanding and problem solving
- Knowledge of the product management lifecycle
- Experience with Strategy and Planning and ability to connect strategy and planning with execution of work
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and structures
- Experience in facilitating meetings with Sr Leaders
- Experience with Agility Health, Jira & Jira Align tools is preferred
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Sharepoint and PowerPoint
- A desire to help get value out of our delivery practices by focusing on work that helps leaders and their teams them do their jobs better
- Strong organization and project/program management approach
- Confidence to present to and communicate with executive team
- Cultivate support, lead change, and drive acceptance at all levels of the organization, up to and including the executive level
- Ability to assess business needs and identify/coordinate the team to solve a variety of problems
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills to lead and help train the end user community
- Analyze complex issues and determine what the correct course of action is to solve
- Data driven approach for finding solutions
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Operate with a can-do attitude despite uncertainties and business flux
The Value You Deliver
- Work with Delivery Enablement leaders to identify, define, and deploy changes to our WI Delivery System
- Take the lead on communications for changes related to Enterprise standards, WI Delivery System, and Delivery Enablement office
- Create and document relevant measurement structures to measure value of delivery
- Use data to analyze efficiency of delivery system and suggest organizational alignment changes
- Actively sharing relevant insights, knowledge, standard methodologies, and developments across the organization
The Team
The Delivery Enablement office supports the Workplace Investing (WI) business unit through maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the WI Delivery System. We do this through utilizing a standard delivery model that enables common language, consistency of practice, and adoption to change. Our office includes delivery consultants, executive coaches, and change management leads and supports programs and products and services within WI and Fidelity Healthcare group.
