The Business Management Office within Fidelity’s Architecture & Engineering team is looking for a seasoned product manager/ program manager to support large scale technology initiatives and help us execute our forward-looking strategy. This person will help us drive towards meeting our performance objectives and deliverables, streamline our work in a number of areas, including strategic development, communications, and execution of large-scale change management initiatives. In this role you will be:
- Developing and executing complex, multi-faceted strategies to drive large-scale change management initiatives.
- Planning and coordinating cross-team and cross-business workstreams to achieve alignment and address common goals.
- Creating and operationalizing complex processes and procedures to streamline work, gain efficiencies, and build scalable and repeatable frameworks.
- Maintaining awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep activities relevant and forward-thinking.
- Consolidating and summarizing large amounts of visual information (e.g., Excel Spreadsheets, diagrams, and Power Point slides) into accessible formats.
- Using a customer-focused approach to provide partners and stakeholders with products and services that are enjoyable, intuitive, and easy to use.
- Building out sophisticated, coordinated roadmaps.
- 7 years’ experience working in Program and/or Product Management (business context and product lifecycle management, grounded upon customer outcomes), Change Management/Strong Communication roles.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing complex projects and programs that impact organizational direction and change the culture.
- Knowledge of how to use data to show value, progress, and trends.
- Ability to make informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to form strong relationships and display a high degree of executive presence.
- Ability to navigate sophisticated relationships, forge critical partnerships, and influence effectively.
- Proven track record of success when working in agile environments, including the ability to use various agile methodologies like scrum and Kanban, and work with associated applications like Jira and Jira Align.
- Ability to break down and organize sophisticated concepts, analyze information, and communicate findings.
- Agile certifications highly desired – Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other preferred.
- Previous cloud certifications highly desired - Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure Certification preferred.
- Understands how to navigate Fidelity with knowledge of its organizational structure and key players.
