Job Description: Sr. Manager, Technology Management - Software Engineering
The Role:
Fidelity Charitable is dedicated to designing and building capabilities that support legal, regulatory, and compliance needs.
You will manage engineering associates and take technical ownership of a portfolio of applications assigned to the Orchestration team.
You will work closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, reliable cloud-based technology solutions that meet business needs.
As a Senior Manager, you will blend engineering knowledge and experience with coaching and mentoring skills to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- 5 years of professional, hands-on Software Engineering experience in Java, Spring boot, and API Full Stack Development.
- Development experience in AWS is a plus.
- 2-3 years in people management with excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead and develop software engineers.
- Experience with modern agile engineering approaches, CI/CD practices, and focus on operational excellence.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with technology and business partners across Fidelity.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Exceptional mentoring and coaching skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

As a Software Engineer, you will help evolve Fidelity Charitable applications to the next level.
This role requires hands-on software development, technical mentoring, cross-team collaboration, and visualizing customer issues as drivers for internal change.
