back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and

Position Summary: The main role of the Logistics Specialist is to offer support with the maintenance of logistics policies, administer and maintain inventory control program systems and coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers. Additionally, logistics specialists will handle freight quotes and setting up trucking/ transportation for our products. They will develop reports showing transportation costs on precise projects and moves.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels
- Coordinate and promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers
- Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks
- Scan orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels
- Approve time sheets associated with deliveries and pick-ups
- Administer and maintain inventory control program systems
- Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
- Manage and monitor the performance of entire fleet, routing and scheduling planning
- Handle freight quotes and setting up trucking/ transportation for our products.
SKILLS
- Excellent communication and computer literacy skills.
- Good forward-thinking skills, you must have the ability to make accurate predictions.
- Ability to analyze data make interpretations.
- Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with various teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytic ability and be very detail-oriented.
- Working well with many different departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- 5 years previous experience in logistics management or coordination
- Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Well-developed motivational and leadership skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum
