Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed estimates and proposals for labor, materials, and equipment associated with mechanical construction projects.
- Evaluate vendor and sub-contractor pricing to ensure compliance with project specifications and drawings.
- Attend pre-bid site meetings, verify site conditions, and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
- Manage the bid preparation and formal written proposal process.
- Maintain electronic records of working documents and data to support estimates and proposals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience preparing estimates and proposals for commercial mechanical projects.
- Ability to provide complete commercial mechanical construction estimates and proposals.
- Competency with computerized estimating and digital take-off software.
- Familiarity with plumbing, hydronic piping, and sheet metal.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
