Fidelity Mechanical Systems is looking for a seasoned Tenant Improvement Sales Representative to join our team in Sparks, MD!
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in all aspects of commercial mechanical estimating and selling projects ranging from $5,000 - $2,000,000, blueprints, specifications, contacting suppliers for pricing, and other documentation to prepare timely accurate labor and cost estimates.
The Tenant Improvement Sales Representative will embody Fidelity Mechanical Services’ Vision and Business Strategy by providing “Proactive World Class Service” to the markets served, based on Profitability, Credibility, Employee Base Environment, Customer Service, and Quality.
THE ROLE AT A GLANCE:
- Develop preliminary and /or definitive detailed estimates and proposals for labor, materials, and equipment associated with mechanical construction projects encompassing plumbing, hydronic/weld piping and sheet metal.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor pricing for compliance with project specifications and drawings.
- Attend pre-bid site meetings, verify site conditions, and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
- Manage the bid preparation and formal written proposal process in its entirety.
- Electronically maintain records of all working documents and data to back up estimates and proposals.
- Assist, organize, and prioritize work in conjunction with sales engineers.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven successful experience preparing estimates and proposals for commercial mechanical projects utilizing computerized estimation and digital take off software.
- Ability to provide a complete commercial mechanical construction estimate and proposal for either plan/spec or design/build projects including plumbing, hydronic piping and sheet metal work.
- Ability to understand/coordinate Mechanical Construction with other building trades (Architectural/Structural etc.)
- Competency with computerized estimating and digital take-off software.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with good communication and writing abilities.
- Familiarity with plumbing, hydronic piping, and sheet metal.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with an emphasis on multitasking.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational time management skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Wage Range:

Base Salary of $60,000 - $90,000 with a lucrative commission structure (immediate eligibility), and mileage reimbursement.
- Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
