Come join our team! Fidelity National Title is seeking an experienced Commercial Escrow Officer/Closer in handling multi-property and/or multi-state national commercial real estate transactions. This position is an onsite position in our office.
Job Summary
This position will assume primary responsibility for coordinating the escrow and closing needs for commercial transactions of Fidelity National Title, it’s agents and direct customers with professionalism and expertise. The position requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional multi-tasking and project management skills capable of prioritizing time and workloads and meeting established deadlines.
Essential Job Functions:
- Preparation of complex single site and multi-site commercial closing statements and disbursement of closing funds.
- Familiarity with all legal, title and escrow requirements associated with a wide variety of size of commercial transactions.
- Conduct closing with customer, realtor, lenders and attorneys.
- Complies with regulatory requirements and company policy by adhering, and enforcing adherence, to requirements.
- Calculate figures and amounts such as premium, interest, prorating taxes, allocations, commissions and proportions.
- Ensuring all financial obligations have been met by the seller and buyer
- Finalizing the real estate transaction and preparing closing documents.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to successfully meet imposed deadlines.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years prior commercial escrow closing experience. Experience in a national commercial title and closing operation in the title industry preferred.
- Real estate experience as paralegal or assistant in a law firm is a plus, but not necessary.
- High School Diploma/equivalent or College degree with demonstrated proficiency in mathematics.
- Proven knowledge and competency in the areas of title fulfillment, escrow/settlement procedures and title insurance principles and procedures as they relate to closing national commercial real estate transactions.
- Superior customer service skills required along with problem solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be professional and a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft and Outlook. IMPACT system experience is a plus.
- Must possess detail orientation with proven ability to produce quality work.
- Confidence and capability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Supplemental Pay
· Eligibility to earn monthly commission pay
· Signing bonus based on experience
