JOB SUMMARY
Research and write high liability title policies for local and national energy transactions.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and lead a veteran team of title assistants
- Responsible for performing complete title searches primarily for energy transactions
- Properly price commitments, endorsements, policies and guarantees using appropriate schedule of fees and charges
- Full coordination and communication with development team and with clients to evaluate and resolve problems
- Centralized national title underwriting and escrow solutions.
- Learn the local market, interpret project requests and identify best practices
- Engage in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new clients
- Handle renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, geothermal, and hybrid; transmission lines and pipelines; fossil fuel plants; desalinization; and public and Native American lands projects

EDUCATION / BACKGROUND
- 5 years of title real estate experience required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
