Pay Rate: Rate may vary due to local or non-local contracted rates: $57-$62/hr combined Rate of pay. (Pay packages are a combination of taxable hourly rates, tax free allowances for travel, housing, and meal allowances) (Rates are subject to change via client need)

Prepare patients
Take a patient's medical history, explain the procedure, and position the patient and equipment to take the image
Operate equipment
Use computerized and manual equipment to take images, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, fluoroscopy, or sonography
Evaluate images
Review the images to ensure they are clear enough for a doctor to diagnose
Document patient care
Record patient medical histories, enter patient data into computers, and maintain patient records
Communicate with patients and doctors
Explain procedures and test results to patients, and inform doctors of patient conditions
Protect patients and staff
Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff, and follow infection control policies
