Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Perform regular physical assessments and vital sign monitoring to track the patient’s progress. Identify any changes in condition and notify the appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Medical Interventions: Administer medications, wound care, and other medical procedures within the scope of practice and under supervision. Perform diagnostic tests as directed by a physician.
- Treatment Support: Assist physicians in preparing and executing treatment plans for patients, ensuring the safe delivery of care.
- Patient Education: Provide patients and families with information about their condition, treatment plan, and recovery process. Educate on the proper use of medications and managing medical concern
Job Title: Intermediate Medical Care Registered Nurse (RN)
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments of patients' conditions, including reviewing medical history, conducting physical exams, and identifying signs of illness or complications. Monitor vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic information.
Care Planning & Implementation: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on physician orders and patient needs. Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of care provided.
Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients for any changes in their health status, including neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, and other vital functions. Adjust interventions as necessary and promptly report any significant changes to the physician.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, specialists, and other RNs, to deliver comprehensive care. Communicate effectively with patients and families to explain medical conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Patient Advocacy: Ensure patients' rights are respected and that they receive the highest quality care. Provide emotional support to patients and families, addressing concerns and promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
Emergency Care: Respond to urgent or emergent situations, providing advanced interventions such as CPR, emergency medications, and other critical care procedures as needed until further medical care arrives.
Education & Training: Educate patients and families on managing health conditions, recognizing symptoms, and adhering to prescribed treatments or lifestyle changes. Stay updated with the latest nursing practices and participate in continuous professional development.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, following all legal and hospital protocols. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, patient privacy (HIPAA), and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state/country.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred or an associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) with a commitment to obtaining a BSN.
- Minimum of X years of clinical experience, with specific experience in intermediate medical care or similar environments preferred.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment.

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage patient care efficiently.
