Fidelity Power Systems, one of the nation’s largest distributors of Kohler Generators and Power Systems, has an immediate opening for an experienced Turn Key Sales Representative to join our award-winning team.
*This position will handle Central MD to Northern VA. *
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the sales of the installation and
equipment of stand-by power solutions which include generators, UPS, Automatic
Transfer Switches & switchgear and associated technology. This position is responsible for identifying, developing,
and managing the relationship with key decision makers throughout the
development and purchasing process. Our ideal candidate will also meet with
potential subs and on occasions be in contact with electrical and mechanical
engineers.
In this position, you will:
- Develop and manage customer relationships to achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within the Northern Maryland territory
- Sell stand-by power generators and other technologies by developing new prospects and accounts
- Visit job sites and meet with customers to evaluate projects for pricing
- Prepare quotes based on technical specifications and present to the customer, negotiate terms of the sale
- Manage your use and data integrity of our CRM software
- Participate in industry tradeshows, networking engagements and other industry events
- Achieves sales goals by managing pricing, product/service mix, and margins
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
Our ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- 2-5 years of power systems equipment sales experience or related sales experience
- Technical background in generators, engines, and related components
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a solid work ethic
- The ability to identify and exceed customer expectations while managing a high volume of work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency performing duties
