Position Description :
As part of Investment Services team, the Platform and Data Strategy Business Analyst is responsible for execution and ongoing analysis and improvement of platforms and data processes. The position is critical to enhancements / implementations to platforms, issue resolution and helping to drive scale and efficiency across multiple systems, groups and processes.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, data strategy, business intelligence, business requirements exploration and discovery, systems improvements, data consumption processes and reporting. The successful candidate will represent the needs of the Platform and Data Strategy BA functions. You will be a member of a team of associates passionate about platforms / technology, data strategy, driving modernization and helping to transform how investors perform their roles in the future.
The Team
Working within the Platform & Data Strategy group, our work supports the business in multiple ways including platform and data strategy initiatives and support. We assist with gathering and analyzing business requirements, while helping with the transformation of the Investment Decisions Solutions (IDS) landscape. Our team is responsible for driving technology, data strategy, and process improvements on behalf of the IDS functions. You will work closely with the investors, operations, and technology partners as the Business Liaison to improve current technology platforms and enhance data strategy and quality, while also helping to drive the implementation and adoption of new tools, process and technology within the business.
The Expertise You Have
- 0 -3 years' experience working in a corporate setting
- Proven capabilities working with project / platform implementations and data strategy / analysis with a sophisticated technical curiosity
- Conceptual understanding of databases with some experience with Python and / or SQL
- Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies
