Job Description: The Director of ML Ops Engineer at Fidelity Labs is a pivotal role for the continued success and growth of the Catchlight startup. Catchlight is a new software solution that helps financial advisors prioritize and optimize their leads and prospects. In this role you will be responsible for hands on building and maintaining the next generation ML platform and infrastructure. The Principal ML Ops Engineer will work closely with technical leads, infrastructure engineers and data scientists. They will establish best practices and lead initiatives to simplify the development and deployment of ML models at scale and bring game-changing ideas to market. The Expertise and Skills You Bring · Extensive software engineering experience including distributed systems and data infrastructure · Strong knowledge of Python, Pandas · Experience with ML infrastructure and ML ops · Building tooling and automation to support the entire ML engineering lifecycle from experimentation to production operations · Experience with the AWS stack, including AWS Sagemaker · Strong understanding of data science, core ML concepts and approaches · Passion for testing as a core part of the development process · You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high risks and high rewards The Team We are Fidelity Labs, Fidelity Investments’ in-house fintech incubator with a mission to build new businesses to drive growth for Fidelity.
