Job Description: Principal Systems Analyst We are looking for a Principal Systems Analyst who bring expertise in bridging business requirements with Technology platforms and solutions. In Wealth Cash Solutions - Personal Cards, we are embarking on a multi-year journey to improve our debit and credit card programs – including enhancing our ability to service customers over our live channels, improving the digital experiences (web and mobile), and optimizing our vendor partnership structure. The role involves facilitating requirement sessions with business partners and vendor partners, articulating business requirements and working within the technology organization to deliver new features/functionality. The Purpose: As a systems analyst on the team, you will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications, develop customer journey maps, data flows and inputs/outputs of the platform. The ideal candidate should show ease at making personal connections, be confident in leading and constructively challenging with a dedicated approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles. The Expertise You Have: 8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions, experience with Debit or Credit card domains, PCI or HIPAA etc. will be a plus Experience researching, optimizing, developing and developing documentation, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and digging into data using logging tools Strong understanding and experience with APIs, relational database schemas and SQL management tools Knowledge of the mainframe, programs and jobs would also be helpful Experience with Agile development methodologies Excellent analytical skills Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related technology discipline The Skills You Bring: Domain expertise in Financial Services domain You are detail-oriented with a real passion for accuracy, clarity, and elimination of ambiguity You are deeply effective in written and verbal communications You are a self-starter who can rapidly assimilate business processes, goals and objectives and distill them into well-defined requirements You understand how technology can automate business processes and can effectively propose, challenge, and engage in ideation with business and technology teams Good interpersonal and leadership and influencing skills (without direct authority of others) Self-driven, self-managed, energetic, passionate, and motivated with the ability to work independently to deliver results The Value You Deliver Facilitating flow of requirements from the business to the technology team Reducing requirements and design risk and resulting costs associated with errors Exercise a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date with evolving technology Take ownership and accountability for figuring out what needs to be done Certifications: Category: Information Technology Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences.
