Job Description: The Role Healthcare Group (HCG) is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to work on Fidelity Health Benefit technology team. The ideal candidate enjoys designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites to ensure client quality and release readiness. We seek talented individual capable of bringing a software engineering approach to our testing practices. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Minimum BS in Computer Science or Engineering 6-9 years’ experience in commercial software development using object-oriented design methodology. 6-9 years’ experience with Java, TestNG, Springboot, Mybatis, JSON and Python combined. 6-9 years’ experience with RDBMS, RESTAPI and related tools such as SQL, RestAssured, Postman You have expertise in working with very large data models and very strong in creating and modifying complex SQL queries to ensure data integrity and perform data reconciliation. Knowledge/Experience in Health care domain and converting client requirements into automation scripts is added value Proven technical experience as an automation engineer/software engineer working across a diverse range of applications at multiple layers of the technology stack You are a strong contributor with a collaborative work style, and you enjoy designing and implementing efficient and effective test strategies Work in a team of SDET’s focused on automation best practices and building reusable artifacts. You bring a learning mindset to your work and are eager to learn and adopt new technologies You thrive in an Agile environment and believe in the value of t-shaped squad members. Participating in testing strategy for system conversion activities Working and collaborating on emerging technologies to solve legacy test challenges.
