Job Description: SQUAD LEADER – Digital Account Management The Role Do you want to make a difference in our customers’ lives and be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional technology delivery team? We are recruiting a Squad Leader who blends product management, leadership, and planning expertise with a passion for delivering results. As an integral part of a Platform team, Squad Leaders contribute to the overall product area strategy as well as delivery of high-value features for Clearing & Custody clients. In an Agile structure, Squad Leaders partner with other Fidelity leaders to influence decisions, build integrated roadmaps, and guide the development of new features. Squad Leaders work with a cross-functional team to deliver digital account management capabilities for our Custody, Clearing, and Fidelity Family Office Services (FFOS) intermediaries and their clients. Squad Leaders ensure alignment on the 'what' and 'when' through continuous planning and prioritization of a product backlog. Along with their squads, Squad Leaders work iteratively, innovating through testing and experimentation, learning from failures while celebrating success. Expectation for the role include the following: Communicating priorities and goals, motivating the delivery team through clear articulation of value and impact Anticipating, discovering, and prioritizing client / partner needs Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against acceptance criteria Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impediments Measuring performance against established objectives and KPI’s that deliver on agreed upon business, technology, and people results Collaborating and coordinating with fellow Squad Leaders, Chapter Leaders, and Scrum Masters to enable associate growth, development, and learning Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between scope, quality, cost, and timelines Collaborating with dependent partners to align on delivery plans The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree in relevant field Series 99 (the FINRA certification must be obtained within 12 months) 5 years of software delivery experience and/or digital product management Proven experience delivering complex technical projects requiring collaboration and working across organizational boundaries Ability to collaborate and influence across different levels of the organization Ability to grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria Proven capability of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority, with a track record of building hard-working teams Supporting and enabling squad members to be effective, productive, and innovative Contributing to multiple projects / initiatives at once Agile experience preferred with knowledge of Jira and Jira Align Intellectually curious with a flexible attitude Thrives in a fast-paced environment, high standards for performance with a continuous improvement approach The Team The Digital Account Management product area is part of the Wealthscape Platform and Technology organization.
