Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide friendly and helpful service.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and cleaning the checkout area.
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products and promotions.
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security policies to ensure the safety of the store's cash and assets.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 20 years of age or older.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
