Project manage initiatives that establish innovative and efficient benefits solutions. Review initiatives to ensure current programs/designs follow governmental regulations and are competitive with other organizations. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Business, or another quantitatively rigorous subject preferred 4-8 years of demonstrated experience in 401(k), 403(b) industry or benefits consulting QKA, QKC or CEBS exams (a plus) Knowledge in qualified and non-qualified defined contribution plan program design, legislative and regulatory requirements (ERISA/ IRS/DOL), and plan administration, including plans with auto-enrollment and safe harbor design features Ability to read and interpret plan documents Superior teamwork skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Experience in leading client relationships Strong ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment Ability to work within budgeted timeframes to maintain client profitability without sacrificing quality Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to build relationships at multiple organizational levels and work (as needed) with individuals in cross-office locations Experience and/or strong understanding in employer plan allocations (e.g., match, true-up and/or non-elective contributions) and performing annual nondiscrimination testing for defined contribution plans General understanding of FICA requirements (a plus) Experience in conducting compliance reviews, plan termination and/or fiduciary trainings (a plus) Experience with VCP/VFCP, 5500 and 5330 filings (a plus) Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position. The Value You Deliver Providing advice to Chief Financial Officers and Human Resource Directors and/or Officers of mid to large size companies regarding their retirement and other benefit programs. Leading and reviewing projects including defined contribution calculation, enhanced plan administration support, mergers & acquisitions, compliance, plan amendments and plan designs. Mentoring and training associate consultants and analysts to ensure continued development of the staff. Preparing and delivering reports and client presentations Crafting project plans, managing / tracking budgets, and setting internal and client team expectations Preparing responses to RFPs and RFIs for new prospects and participating in new business meetings with prospects (a plus) Supporting thought leadership and initiatives across the retirement practice The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
