Electrical & Instrumentation Project Manager
Fides Consulting, LLC serves as Owner’s Engineer and provides project support for numerous Clean Fuels and Green Energy Projects. Fides is looking for an E & I Project Manager to join our team to support our clients
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical and project management leadership during project development and planning.
- Assist Program Managers and others in the development of technical aspects of project scoping along with providing technical assistance.
- Support preparation of FEL 1 packages for further development by third party groups.
- Represent Owner’s interests regarding technical activities for multiple EPC contractors on projects ranging from $250M to $2B.
- Ensure project development and execution follows industry & professional standards, local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Technical Degree from Accredited ABET University.
Experience:
- 15 years of experience as a practicing professional (5 associated with major project work) in engineering and capital project management.
- Organized self-starter with the ability to handle large projects and prioritize workload.
- Experienced in stakeholder management, creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources, and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization required.
- Knowledge or experience with project management tools (project control, tracking and measurement), documentation tools, and reporting tools required.
- Knowledge of and experience in applying quality management principles
- Demonstrated experience in the development, oversight, and installation of capital projects.
- The ability to effectively communicate in written and spoken form, and to succinctly discuss complex technical systems to non-experts.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skill with clients and team members.
- Ability to interface with various levels of personnel in a multi-cultural, team-oriented environment.
