2.8 UX Designer: Human-Robot Interaction

We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-based architectures, and are charting a new course, with already-globally-deployed solutions delivering real-world results and rapidly improving models through real-field applications.

We’re looking for UX designers who are passionate about defining and evolving human-robot interaction with robots of all shapes and sizes. You’ll have the opportunity to grow in a brand new team which will lead our design and interactions across our applications. • Define the Field AI design system for our suite of applications. There’s lots to develop so you’ll have a ton of ownership and creative freedom!
• Conduct and own the feedback loop of user and field studies into our product development and roadmaps
• Design & test intuitive UIs (3D 2D) for telepresence that allow end users to control, monitor, manage and analyze individual robots and robot fleets
• Work closely with robotics engineers across various domains to own and create full end-to-end experiences and products for our users
• Explore new ways to make robots more approachable and usable to the general public

• Experience: 5 years in UX design with a penchant for organization and details
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your story
• Ability to sell your visions to a broader audience
• Familiarity with real-time data visualization processing, prior experiences in robotics or autonomy is a major plus
• Innovation: Excitement to explore lots of uncharted territory in the field of human-robot interaction with a penchant for iterative development and learning from failures

Compensation and Benefits

Our salary range is generous ($70,000 - $300,000 annual), but we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  Also, while we enjoy being together on-site, we are open to exploring a hybrid or remote option.
