We are looking for a mechatronics engineer to join our hardware team onsite in Mission Viejo, CA to help develop the best bodies for our embodied AI! The core of Field AI's autonomy is the Field Foundation Model, but the smartest algorithm can't run without a brain. Join our team and help us develop this brain, and other capabilities for our robotic systems.
What You Will Get To Do
- Design and build robotic systems that integrate seamlessly with Field AI's autonomy platform.
- Develop and test mechanical, electrical, and software components for our robotics systems.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate machine learning models into robotic platforms.
- Iterate on prototypes to refine performance and robustness.
- Conduct field testing and implement improvements based on real-world feedback.
- Ensure systems meet quality and reliability standards for deployment in diverse environments.

Our salary range is generous ($70,000 - $300,000 annual), but we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
