What You Will Get To Do
- Develop and maintain a reliable telemonitoring and teleoperation system using different communication and compression techniques.
- Optimize streaming capabilities and ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Implement solutions that enable concurrent data transmission.
- Seamlessly switch between different network types to guarantee stable connectivity for remote operations.
- Configure and troubleshoot network protocols (TCP, UDP, etc.) to optimize data flow and minimize latency.
- Establish and implement tracking metrics to monitor data flow, latency, and performance across various network conditions.
- Collaborate with robotics teams to integrate real-time control and feedback loops into existing platforms
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in real-time communication technologies (e.g., WebRTC, gRPC) or similar streaming frameworks.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP, UDP, routing, NAT traversal) and experience with Wi-Fi/cellular/5G.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C , Python, or Javascript, with a focus on performance and concurrency.
- Familiarity with video streaming concepts, codecs, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience building or maintaining real-time monitoring and metrics systems (e.g., using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network or streaming-related issues.
- Background in low-latency or high-throughput system design for autonomous vehicles or drones.
- Familiarity with security best practices for data streaming and teleoperation (encryption, authentication)Hands-on experience integrating hardware components (e.g., sensors, cameras) with teleoperation software
