JOB DESCRIPTION
Facilities Manager – F/T
The Facilities Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance and care of the Field Arts & Events Hall facilities and grounds in Port Angeles, WA.
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this person will ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards. The Facilities Manager will operate within the essential duties and responsibilities, which include the following:
- Monitors the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
- Performs general upkeep, repair and routine maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business, performances, and events.
- Regular and frequent inspection of equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate ongoing and as needed maintenance and certifications with appropriate inspectors.
- Schedule inspections and repairs with outside vendors.
- Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
- Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
- Provides recommendations as needed, for purchases of new pr repairs of equipment.
- Collaborates with other appropriate management to prepare and implement Field Arts & Events Hall’s budget.
- Manage Field Arts & Events Hall Solid Waste and Recycling.
- Maintain the Exterior appearance of Field Arts & Events Hall.
- Communicate, schedule, and track Field Arts & Events Hall’s Landscaping.
- Ensures proper security measures are maintained and upheld.
- Be ready for the unexpected.
- Collaborate with all departments in a supportive and expedient manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience managing Field Arts & Events Hall’s types of facilities, equipment, and events preferred. (HVAC (LG System), plumbing, electrical equipment and grounds)
- Light carpentry skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prefer 4 years’ experience.
- Ability to perform essential functions as they relate to the job.
- Ability to plan and execute, and monitor facility projects from start to finish.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry items weighing up to but not limited to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Occasionally this position requires a person to be able to push/pull up to but not limited to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, overhead reaching, and repetitive hand, and arm movements frequently.
- Excellent communication with all Field Hall community members including employees, patrons, contractors and vendors.

Compensation
58K-62K Annually

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
