What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager- Positions Available in Multiple States position at Field Controls?
The RSM lives and works in a defined region of the country. They focus on building engaged, mutually beneficial relationships between Field Controls and its key accounts to drive sales growth. The RSM is a critical member of our sales organization that identifies and creates opportunities by positioning solutions aligned with key customer goals, challenges, and initiatives. The RSM is responsible for managing independent reps and/or territory managers and creating growth of HVAC sales through distributors and contractors in their region.
Basic Responsibilities Include:
- Develop Strategy and drive growth at strategic distributors or other identified accounts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the assigned accounts in your region.
- Identify how our company can support the customer’s opportunities and challenges.
- Identify and build relationships with large HVAC Contractors and/or influencers.
- Identify and build relationships with Senior Sales Managers at key distributors.
- Work with rep firms or territory managers to penetrate and grow distributor accounts.
- Develop and implement growth plans for target accounts in your region.
- Identify, support, and convert influencers or contractors at target accounts.
- Interface with marketing to share customer requirements for marketing support, including custom literature

Base of $120K dependent upon experience along with additional sales commissions or incentives of $60K . The RSM will reside in their defined region of the country and travel as required to your customers. Remote meetings through TEAMS will continue to be a critical and efficient portion of this job, reducing unnecessary travel. Still, regular in-person visits with customers and periodic visits to the factory in Kinston, NC are required.
Salary : $120,000
