Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA is looking for an experienced, part-time Front-of-House Shift Lead/Manager to join our team.
As a FOH Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing that guests receive outstanding service, ensuring team members are performing their duties effectively, and fostering a positive and memorable dining experience for all. You’ll work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to provide accurate and timely service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Field Day Brewing Co. is the first and only brewing in North Liberty, IA, excited to reframe & disrupt the traditional view on breweries by bringing exciting opportunities paired with world-class beer. We brew everything from Hazy IPA’s ? big and bold stouts ? overly-fruited sours. While we don’t like pigeon-holing ourselves into one specific category, our 4 vessel, custom brewhouse and cereal cooker allows us to specialize in German and Czech lagers. IE: the light & crispy stuff that is super sessionable.
In addition to our amazingly brewed beverages, we offer a full-service menu carefully constructed and prepared on-site. A great place for our customers to unwind and enjoy a night out.

Pay: $20 per hour and up based on experience
Schedule: Part-time. Weekend availability is a must.

- Assist with scheduling adjustments for all front-of-house employees, managing time-off requests, cross-referencing internal & local events, and ensuring each area is adequately staffed
- Execute pre-shift rallies
- Assist AGM & GM with overseeing all front-of-house employees, including: job responsibilities, training and continuing education, discipline and commendations
- Use essential tools and checklists for front-of-house to effectively prepare and maintain the brewery’s appearance
- Complete daily cash and safe balance reports to ensure accuracy and security of funds
- Assist with conducting weekly and monthly inventory checks to track and manage stock levels efficiently
- Assist in driving performance and development of front-on-house employees and management, building success and fostering growth within the team
- Demonstrate proficiency and versatility in all front-of-house operations
- Monitor and address equipment and facilities repair and cosmetic needs to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment
- Actively engage with customers by conducting 100% table touches to enhance the dining experience
- Pioneer growth avenue for increased revenue
- Ability to work bartending/serving shifts as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Maintains a clean and presentable appearance, values professional presentation.
- At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass the IOWA Program for Alcohol Compliance Training
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift and carrying trays or other items up to 40lbs
