Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback, you will be crucial in supporting bartenders and ensuring the bar operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals seeking experience in bartending while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with cash handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service during busy shifts.
• Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
• Support food service operations by assisting with kitchen tasks when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in a nightclub or bar setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Basic knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is a plus.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
• Previous experience in food service or catering can be beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a strong desire to help others create an enjoyable experience.

Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
