SUMMARY: Conduct independent loan reviews for the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio. Perform credit analysis, including analysis of financial statements, cash flow, stress testing, and collateral analysis. These reviews will help the Bank manage the risk in the loan portfolio by identifying positive or negative trends from when the loans were originated. Must demonstrate working knowledge of applicable federal regulations and internal bank loan policy.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ work-related experience, specifically in commercial credit analysis, loan review, and/or commercial lending
  • Demonstrated knowledge of bank’s various operating systems
  • Demonstrated capability of analyzing and valuing complex commercial deals
  • Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing Commercial and Real Estate lending
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and collateral
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation, including promissory notes, security agreements, and loan agreements.
  • Identify potential risks associated with a loan, such as industry trends, economic conditions, and borrower concentration.
  • Ensure loans adhere to all applicable banking regulations and internal credit policies.
  • Assign appropriate credit ratings to loans based on analysis.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing loan review findings and recommendations for management.
  • Communicate with loan officers to discuss credit concerns and clarifying loan details.
  • Monitor the construction loan draw process
  • Perform dual control floor plan audits
  • Assist credit analysts in ensuring complete financial packages are received prior to underwriting
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
  • Time Management skills

  • Understanding of financial products and services

ADA REQUIREMENTS: Work is performed in an office setting; one must be able to concentrate and perform work in an area that will likely result in the interruptions of one’s duties. May be required to stand for long periods of time and to lift items weighing up to 25-70 lbs.
