What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Field Memorial Community Hospital?
Performs the activities of the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal/external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and budgets. Performs all duties regarding time records and payroll processing for all employees. Prepares tax returns as well as W2 and 1099 documents. Supervises the activities of the Accounts Payable Department. Performs GL reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, completes journal entries for month end close for hospital, clinics, and retail pharmacy. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required. Three to five years healthcare related accounting experience or general accounting management experience preferred.
