What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Assistant position at Field Memorial Community Hospital?
Assists physicians as needed including exams, treatments, and dressing changes. Assists in ordering, sorting, storing supplies, restocking exam and procedure rooms. Assists in receiving, logging, and collecting specimens. Prepares specimens for technical testing. Fulfills environmental responsibilities as assigned which may include setting up instruments and equipment according to department protocol. Completes assignments in a dependable and timely manner. Maintains confidentiality of patient information and records. Minimum of one year in health care setting preferred.
