What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant position at Field of Dreams Allegany?
Assist the Activity Director in planning, promoting, organizing, and conducting activities for residents, under policies established by the facility by performing the following duties.
1. Conduct a program of activities for residents to provide entertainment, inter-communication, exercise, relaxation, and an opportunity to express talent and fulfill psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
2. Lead small and large group activities.
3. Coordinate resident's birthday celebrations.
4. Assist with outings, holiday celebrations.
5. Participate in public relations. Maintain positive attitude within facility and community.
6. Oversee the Activity Program in the Activity Director's absence.
7. Communicate all resident's issues directly to Activity Director.
8. Drive company vehicles for outings and recreation.
- Education: H.S. graduate, (or GED), associate's degree, bachelor's preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one or with small groups
- Current driver's license with acceptable record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
