As a Cybersecurity Architect, you’ll guide, design, and implement secure solutions that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in integrating and configuring security tools, performing security reviews, and developing secure system architectures to reduce risks effectively.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card Hold
Location: Morrisville, NC (Preference for local candidates; fully remote considered)
Contract Type: Annual Extension Expected
What you’ll do:
- Lead the integration of threat intelligence platforms with security tools, focusing on automation.
- Develop and maintain system security concept of operations (ConOps) documents.
- Align organizational goals with security architecture strategies.
- Design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions for various systems.
- Test and evaluate hardware/software to ensure consistency with cybersecurity requirements.
- Identify and prioritize critical system capabilities and business functions.
- Conduct security reviews, identify gaps, and assess architecture effectiveness.
- Configure or reconfigure security tools as needed.
Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years experience with SIEM, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, endpoint security, and security tool integration.
- Proven ability to analyze and tune alerts from cloud, SIEM, and EDR tools.
- Familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.
- Experience with security frameworks and translating use cases into actionable solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IDS/IPS, malware detection/prevention, and web/email gateway security technologies.
- Experience with AI/ML applications in threat intel platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects with diplomacy and tact.
Certifications:
- CompTIA Net , CompTIA A , CompTIA Security
- CPTE (Certified Penetration Testing Engineer) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
