As a Telecommunications Specialist, youll support key telecommunications initiatives, including WAN, LAN, VPN, wiring LAN infrastructures, and wireless environments. Youll analyze data, track metrics, and provide valuable insights to management while coordinating installations and troubleshooting network issues.
Location : Onsite position in Raleigh, NC
Schedule : Mon-Fri first shift, must work onsite Monday and Tuesday
Position of Public Trust Clearance :
US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
Must not have traveled outside the US for 6 months in the past 5 years (Military excluded)
Resided in the US for the last 5 years.
What You'll Do :
- Coordinate and manage network service installations and upgrades.
- Handle multiple network service requests using Telecom Expense Management software.
- Track tasks, generate reports, and manage metrics with tools like Excel and ServiceNow .
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot WAN, LAN, and VPN issues.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to SLA standards.
- Process service orders, including new installs, migrations, and disconnects.
- Proactively update management on project progress and resolve delays or obstacles.
- Ensure ServiceNow tickets and vendor tickets are closed promptly.
