Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills to ensure seamless operations and high-quality experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, screens, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio-visual systems promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their audio-visual needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools for installation and repairs of AV systems.
- Perform fiber splicing as required for network connectivity in AV setups.
- Work with networking equipment such as Cisco routers and Juniper devices to support AV systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
Experience
- Proficiency in working with NEC audio-visual equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT concepts, including networking standards such as Cat5 and Cat6 cabling.
- Previous experience as a service technician in the audio-visual or IT industry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay Rate:
- $30 - $35/HR (depending on previous experience)
