Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and networking, with hands-on experience in equipment repair and installation. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various communication systems, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure telecommunications equipment, including VoIP systems and CCTV cameras.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing equipment to ensure reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and networking systems.
- Conduct field service visits to client locations for installation and support.
- Work with Cat5 cabling and other networking infrastructure to establish connections.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations.

We will need photos of repairs and testing results of work completed before leaving site so we can upload for approval.
· All new cable runs should be labeled
· No device patch cable hookup needed or testing of devices.
· Cabling assumes: Unobstructed open-air or drop ceiling cable paths, unobstructed conduit paths, no conduit included, and no core holes required.
Cables terminated on each end per Sams standards (RJ45, biscuit jack, patch panel, etc.)
