What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA/QC Supervisor position at Field Talent?
Currently hiring for a direct placement QA/QC Supervisor
- Candidate must have 8 plus years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, or other similar fields.
- Must have a certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and /or ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification preferred
- Must have 3 plus years of experience leading and managing direct reports.
- Proficient understanding of ASME Section IX BP&V Code and experience creating and reviewing welding procedures and welder or brazer qualifications.
- Must be able to interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication is essential. Has to be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
